Weber Shandwick Chair Appointed to USAID

Jack Leslie, chairman of Weber Shandwick has been appointed to the U.S. Agency for International Aid (USAID) Advisory Committee for Voluntary Foreign Aid (ACVFA). That’s a mouthful.

The ACVFA is a half-century-old organization that brings in private citizens to lend their voices to the government’s international development plans; a way of bringing public and private together on global policy issues.

In 2009, Leslie was appointed to the U.S. African Development Foundation and he’s a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
