Alex Bruell, PRWeek‘s consumer reporter, is the latest staff member to leave the magazine. The news came through an Ad Age tweet, which is where Bruell will be headed mid-May. She was with PRWeek for about four years.

PRWeek has posted a listing on mediabistro seeking a healthcare and public affairs reporter. Jaimy Lee has been covering those beats. Last week, we reported that the magazine was searching for a West Coast reporter and news editor. The PRWeek Awards were also handed out last week.
We’ve been in touch with PRWeek for comment about the changes.
PRNewser has received several announcements over the last few months pointing us to recently hired healthcare practice leads at large agencies.
“MS&L, Burson-Marsteller, and Hill & Knowlton have lost at least two of their top healthcare leaders in the last four months. Euro RSCG PR, Cohn & Wolfe, Ketchum, and Porter Novelli have also reported healthcare practice leadership changes since March 2009,” she wrote.

Anna Maria DeSalva, formerly worldwide director of healthcare for Hill & Knowlton, joined Pfizer as VP of worldwide communications in November. Dolly Judge, former VP of government relations for Pfizer, has joined H&K as SVP and director of healthcare policy.
