‘RHMIA’ Is Great PR for Miami Businesses

Last night’s episode of The Real Housewives of  Miami focused on Marysol Patton‘s Aspen wedding. Snow and happy tears. Who doesn’t love a wedding?

Also, the episode featured a few more local businesses and businesspeople, including Cafe Martorano and chef Steve in the clip above, who gave the housewives an Italian cooking lesson.

In our pre-season podcast with The Patton Group prez, she mentioned that Miami would be showcased during the show, and that has definitely turned out to be true. From fashion designers, to local charities, to the businesses owned by the housewives themselves, Miami has gotten lots of good PR.

RHMIA’s Marysol Patton: ‘I’m Not a McDonald’s Milkshake’

After three episodes where Marysol Patton was largely in the background of all the action unfolding on The Real Housewives of Miami (Would Adriana’s art show come off without a hitch?! Will Lea really send Cristy an invoice for showing up at her big charity gala without a ticket?!), the Patton Group prez finally took center stage last night when Philippe  proposed. Podcast: Patton Group President Marysol Patton Talks Miami ‘Housewives’

The Real Housewives of Miami. Marysol Patton is second from the left.

The Housewives have taken root in D.C., New York, Beverly Hills, and a ton of other cities around the U.S. The latest – The Real Housewives of Miami - premieres February 22 on Bravo. And one of the stars of the show is the president and owner of the Miami-based PR firm The Patton Group, Marysol Patton.

According to Patton, she had some seven-day work weeks while filming the show, but says the show stands out from the rest due, in part, to the “beautiful Miami landscape.”

“It’s more of an upbeat show; not so much of the cattiness and craziness,” Patton told us. Housewives without the cattiness?!

And, special for V-Day, Patton said there’s also “some romance” on the program.
