Macy’s Has A “Special” Black Santa That They Didn’t Tell Anyone About

In light of a steady stream of racial profiling incidents reported in the media and the firestorm generated by Megyn Kelly over her thoughts on Santa’s skin color, we find out now that Macy’s has a “special” black Santa Claus that they’ve basically kept hidden for what could be many years.

Animal New York posted this story with the video above on its website this week, showing the twists and turns that their correspondent had to journey through to visit this jolly St. Nick. If you happen to know about him, you have to ask an elf to direct you to him. It’s like black Santa is also speakeasy Santa. If you don’t know what to say to get past the door, you can’t see him.

While it’s great that Macy’s recognizes a multicultural celebration of Christmas, it’s a fail that they don’t publicize it.

Megyn Kelly Thinks ‘Santa Is White’ Critics Should Learn to Take a ‘Joke’

On Friday night, Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly addressed the zero children who watch her 10PM news show to follow up on a controversy she created entirely on her own last week by letting everyone know that Santa and Jesus are white and that’s just the way it is.

Her version of damage control, shared by our sister site TVNewser, confirmed what we all suspected: it was a joke told for the kids, and all those meanies in the media are just using it as an excuse to be such a Regina to Megyn.

Wait, what?

Last night Jon Stewart went off on Fox Newsrising starMegyn Kelly for taking a moment to remind all the 6-year-old news hounds who watch her 10PM show that both Santa Claus and Jesus were white men, and that’s a fact so they should just freaking deal with it.

Jiminy Christmas, what was that all about?

Fox News Chief Roger Ailes Cans Top PR Rep

Today The Hollywood Reporter brought word that Fox News chief Roger Ailes had given “right hand [PR] man” Brian Lewis his walking papers. That’s not all: the THR headline asserts that he was “…escorted from the Fox News building” this morning. Kind of an unnecessary detail, but we get the point.

Lewis worked as “a top executive” to Ailes since the network began 17 years ago. His latest official title was VP, corporate communications, a role that required him to manage PR duties for all the Fox properties. “Insiders” claim that “financial issues” forced Ailes to make the decision while some media observers think this move portends a bigger shakeup (especially when paired with the recent re-shuffling of on-air personalities Sean Hannity, Megyn Kelly and Shep Smith).

We don’t know about all that, and we’re absolutely sure that Mr. Ailes would never turn to us for advice, but we think he might want to consider Shep as a replacement for Lewis. The world’s biggest True Blood fan might not be a PR pro, but he’s certainly not afraid to let everyone know how he feels about that “V.”

RNC Comms. Director Makes Media Rounds To Defend $2k Strip Club Bill

Fox News’ Megyn Kelly grilled Republic National Committee Communications Director Doug Heye today after reports surfaced that the RNC spent almost $2,000 at “Voyeur West Hollywood, a bondage-themed nightclub featuring topless women dancers imitating lesbian sex.”

“[RNC Chairman] Michael Steele was not there, he didn’t know about it, he wouldn’t have known about it…This is a charge that is absolutely unacceptable” said Heye, adding that the money will be paid back. Heye was hired by the RNC in February.
