The acquisition spree continues with LEWIS PR‘s all-cash purchase of Page One PR, a social media firm specializing in campaigns for technology companies founded in 2003. The deal is effective October 1. Other terms of the transaction are undisclosed.
Page One’s clients include Cisco and VMware. Cisco is also included on LEWIS’ list of clients, along with companies like Sony Pictures and Citrix.
According to the press release, the purchase is the “next phase” of an acquisition strategy after LEWIS’ purchase of Belgian firm Leads United last year.
“We plan to make further acquisitions in the digital/interactive space, in consumer, and in other geographic markets where LEWIS is under-represented,” LEWIS EVP Morgan McLintic told PRNewser via e-mail. “We’re in discussions with a number of firms and actively looking for others.”
