<title>As &#8216;The Office&#8217; Winds Down, &#8216;Dunder Mifflin&#8217; is Gearing Up</title>
<description><![CDATA[<p><img class="alignleft size-full wp-image-64698" title="images" src="http://www.mediabistro.com/prnewser/files/2013/05/images.jpg" alt="" width="251" height="201" />As fans of &#8220;<strong>The Office</strong>&#8221; prepare to say a fond farewell to their beloved Scranton-dwelling characters on tonight&#8217;s series finale, the real-life<strong> Dunder Mifflin</strong> paper company, launched in 2011 via a licensing deal between Quill.com and NBC Universal, is preparing to ramp up business with a well-placed ad.</p>
<p>The spot, created by PR agency<strong> Olson</strong> and crowdsourcing platform <strong>Tongal</strong>, will run tonight in five Dunder Mifflin &#8220;branch&#8221; markets (Scranton, Utica, Akron, Albany, Syracuse).</p>

We guess having sales geniuses like Dwight in your corner can make all the difference, especially when he delivers nuggets of marketing gold like, &#8220;To me, success is simply the opposite of failure.&#8221; Indeed.</p>

Moe had previously been Vox’s chief content officer and was publisher of <strong>The Verge</strong> and <strong>Polygon</strong>, which he also co-founded. Purzycki was senior director of East Coast sales and managed account relationships with clients such as MSFT, P&amp;G, BMW, Comcast, Unilever and others. Partilla joins Olson from Dentsu Network West (which includes McGarryBowen, Firstborn and 360i), where he spent the last two years as chief operating officer of the Americas, Europe and Australia. Prior to his time at Dentsu, Partilla held senior-level posts at Time Warner and Clear Channel, and spent nearly two decades at Y&amp;R, where he founded and served as CEO of its BrandBuzz unit. <title>Dig Communications is Now Olson PR</title>

<p><strong><a href="http://www.mediabistro.com/Dig-Communications-profile.html">Dig Communications</a></strong> has officially changed its name to <strong><a href="http://www.mediabistro.com/Olson-profile.html"></a><strong><a href="http://www.mediabistro.com/Olson-PR--profile.html">Olson PR</a></strong></strong>, completing the transition that <a href="http://www.mediabistro.com/prnewser/olson-acquires-dig-communications_b10577">began in December</a> when it was announced that Olson had acquired the PR agency. <strong><a href="http://www.mediabistro.com/Peter-Marino-profile.html">Peter Marino</a></strong>, Dig&#8217;s founder, will continue as president of <a href="http://twitter.com/#!/OLSONagency">Olson PR</a>.</p>
<p>PR clients include MillerCoors, Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company, and Southwest Airlines. Olson has more than 400 staffers providing services across advertising, mobile, digital, and other areas. The PR practice works out of offices in Minneapolis, Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Milwaukee.</p>

<title>Olson Acquires Dig Communications</title>
<description><![CDATA[<p><strong><a href="http://www.mediabistro.com/Olson-profile.html">Olson</a></strong> is acquiring Chicago-based <strong><a href="http://www.mediabistro.com/Dig-Communications-profile.html">Dig Communications</a></strong>, extending its reach outside of Minneapolis. According to <a href="http://adage.com/agencynews/article?article_id=147503"><em>Ad Age</em></a>, Olson&#8217;s staff total will rise to 360 employees and about 20 percent of revenue will now stem from PR.  Dig will become Olson PR.</p>
<p>Among Dig&#8217;s clients are MillerCoors, Mars&#8217; Wm. Wrigley Jr. Co., and American Express. Olson clients include General Mills and Target.</p>
