DMX Promises to Whoop Up on George Zimmerman (Up in Here, Up in Here)

dmx zimmermanAs we have learned in the media, George Zimmerman wants to be famous. He goes all Wild Wild West on an 18-year-old boy with a hoodie. Then, he gets busted for having a leadfoot in Florida. Later, he beats his wife. It’s easy to tell how classy this guy is.

The dude is probably looking for a reality show to keep his name in the spotlight. He’s about to get his chance (and the rest of America might just tune in to see him get his come-uppins).

Today—ironically on Travyon Martin’s birthday—it was announced that George Zimmerman will take part in a boxing match with rapper DMX.

Zimmerman’s Attorney Confirms Website is Real

Over the weekend, George Zimmerman, the man who shot unarmed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, registered the website therealgeorgezimmerman.com, which includes a PayPal link for donations to his defense and living expenses.

In addition to the Paypal link, Zimmerman says in a statement that he has “been forced to leave my home, my school, my employer, my family and ultimately, my entire life,” as a result of the February 26 shooting. A section labeled “The Facts” only includes a quote about facts and evidence, though presents no information about the shooting.

A section labeled “My Race” has a quote from Thomas Payne.

Special prosecutor for the case Angela Corey announced yesterday that she wouldn’t present be presenting to a grand jury that was scheduled to convene today. It has been cancelled. However, experts say a decision about how this case will proceed could come soon.

Geraldo Rivera Issues a Fake Apology for His Ridiculous Hoodie Comments

Mustachioed jerk Geraldo Rivera issued a non-apology today for his comments about the Trayvon Martin tragedy, made last week on Fox & Friends. At the time, Rivera said that the hoodie the unarmed teen was wearing was just as responsible for his death as George Zimmerman, the man who shot him.

In a letter to Politico, Rivera wrote, “by putting responsibility on what kids wear instead of how people react to them I have obscured the main point that someone shot and killed an unarmed teenager.”

But he also said, “I apologize to anyone offended by what one prominent black conservative called my ‘very practical and potentially life-saving campaign urging black and Hispanic parents not to let their children go around wearing hoodies,’” quoting a story from the National Review.

According to Politico, Rivera has been “buried”  under backlash since the appearance. Criticism even came from his son.
