The Newsmarket and Medialink Are Now Synaptic Digital

Online video company The NewsMarket, which acquired PR-video services company Medialink in September 2009, has announced a re-branding of the combined companies to Synaptic Digital.
“It’s really about a complete solution, helping our clients make the biggest impact across platforms,” said Jim Lonergan, president and CEO of the combined company.
We would share the the company’s launch video with you here at PRNewser, but it is non-embeddable. [UPDATE: The video is now embeddable. We've posted it after the jump.] The Newsmarket.com remains as the company’s digital distribution platform.
PRNewser has reported on some personnel changes at the new company recently, including Lisa Zlotnick, formerly Senior Director of Media Relations, who left in February to join joined M. Booth & Associates as Broadcast Director.
In addition to Zlotnick, Medialink SVP Adam Dictrow also recently left the company to take on a role as Divisional Vice President at competitor MultiVu, a PR Newswire Company.
While PR provided video for broadcast use has greatly declined, there is certainly a market for online video, something Synaptic Digital will try to capitalize on.
