Today’s Manhattan PR Stunt: Pole Dancing in the Streets

What is the latest PR stunt to attempt to draw the attention of people roaming Midtown Manhattan today? Why, that would be pole dancing. The picture above – via The Awl – is a promotion for “The Ultimate Pole Dance Competition,” which comes to New York in October.

It looks like the PR team behind this event has some more work to do. A quick Google News and Blog search shows little media coverage.
