Twitter will soon be making additions to its PR department, Vice President of Communications Sean Garrett told PRNewser today.

“I’m looking to hire two relatively senior people and one junior person. I am not looking to hire an agency anytime soon,” he said.

The team will help cover consumer, media partnerships, product, monetization, mobile, corporate, ecosystem, and international PR. “It’s no small task,” said Garrett.

He hopes to have the hires in place by April. They will be based in San Francisco. Garrett joined Twitter in February from agency 463 Communications.
