ESPN and YouTube have launched a promotional program called “Your Highlight” that will encourage submissions of amateur sports video, from high school sports games to corporate sports events. The program will run through December 8, with viewers submitting their clips to the ESPN YouTube channel. With help from viewers, one video will ultimately be chosen to air repeatedly on SportsCenter.
The two companies have had a partnership prior to this launch. However ESPN’s YouTube content has all been produced by ESPN.
