Sally Farhat

Professional/Personal Overview
I've been on staff at national newspapers and magazines have been a full-time freelancer for two years. My stories have included everything from high-profile investigative crime stories to celebrity profiles, from environmental mishaps to gardening features (though I've never gardened in my life.) I've worked on daily deadlines for most of my career.
My Web site is http://www.sallyfarhat.com and it's updated with clips. Some of my story highlights include:
*How a city mistakenly sold a huge, downtown office building to a broke former Dot-com millionaire and left taxpayers to foot the bill
*How the county coroner got money for all the organ donors he got
*How city swimming pools were polluted -- though no one bothered to tell people
and so much more.
I am also a 300-level journalism instructor at the University of Washington.
