She has been in mobile her whole career, working in technology strategy and innovation for Telstra, Australia's largest telco; as the product manager at 3jam, an SMS 2.0 startup; and leading Friendster's mobile strategy into South-East Asia.

Mike Malone

MIKE MALONE (@mjmalone) is with SimpleGeo. Mike works on building and integrating scalable systems that power the company’s location platform. Since joining SimpleGeo, Mike has been working to ensure operational continuity in the face of rapid growth, partial system failures, and traffic bursts. Before joining SimpleGeo, Mike helped build the microblogging web site Pownce, where he learned a lot about the technical and social difficulties of scaling an online community. After Pownce’s acquisition by Six Apart in 2008, Mike worked on the TypePad platform team, where he gained a great deal of experience building RESTful web services. In his spare time Mike enjoys tinkering with new technologies. When he’s not on the computer, you can probably find him hanging out with his girlfriend, Katie, and their friends at a good bar.

SOMRAT NIYOGI is CEO & Founder of Bazaar Labs, the app developer for the social TV platform, Miso - the "Foursquare for TV".  Prior to founding Bazaar Labs, Somrat held various roles, including business development & sales at social advertising startup SocialMedia.com where he worked with large brands including P&G, Nestle, and BMW putting together innovative social ad campaigns. Somrat has extensive background in cloud computing APIs, enterprise software, SaaS-based solutions from his experiences in sales, partner management, & consulting at Right90 and Salesforce.com. Somrat graduated with a BS in Computer Sciences at UT-Austin.

JASON OBERFEST (@joberfest) is VP Social Applications at  blog.ngmoco.com. Jason oversees the Plus+ Developer Platform, the premium social play network for iPhone and iPod Touch.  Jason is also responsible for bringing ngmoco:) games to social networks and developing and discovering social games that can be adapted to iPhone and mobile devices. ngmoco:) has released 12 games to the Apple App Store, among them the critically acclaimed Rolando, Eliminate (#1 Free App and Top 10 grossing app), Star Defense and Touch Pets Dogs. Jon Phenix

JON PHENIX (@nexage) is Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Nexage. Jon oversees publisher sales and marketing efforts for Nexage. Jon joins Nexage from gamerDNA, a leading game media company, where he served as Vice President of Sales and Advertising Operations. At gamerDNA Jon lead growth of gamerDNA to a Comscore ranked top 15 gaming media network in less than one year and helped lead the 2009 acquisition of gamerDNA by Crispy Gamer Media. Previous to gamerDNA Jon was Head of Eastern US Sales at Nokia Interactive. Nokia acquired his former company Enpocket, a pioneer in the mobile advertising space. At Nokia he was responsible for building a team and managing Eastern US revenue in the emerging mobile advertising space.Earlier in his career Jon was at eBay as a Business Development Manager. Jon came to eBay through eBay’s acquisition of FairMarket. FairMarket provided an e-commerce and promotional auction platform licensed by brand advertisers and agencies.

Manu Rekhi 

MANU REKHI is the General Manager of MySpace Games and Developer Platform. Manu previously oversaw Strategy, Marketing, Biz Dev and Corp Dev at Lolapps, where he transformed Lolapps from a Quiz/Gift provider to a social gaming company through profitable acquisitions and a successful publishing model. Prior to Lolapps, he was a Product Manager at Google. In this role he worked on several Google products including Gmail, Open Social, Calendar, Orkut and ads.

Jodee Rich

JODEE RICH (@WingDude) believes social media is creating a global collective consciousness that is rapidly shifting the power base from Big Business, Religion and Government to the Global Consumer. Jodee has consistently identified major industry trends. He started writing code on punch cards in 1972. In 1979 he wrote software for the Apple II 64k microcomputer and founded Imagineering to market and distribute microcomputer software and hardware. In 1987 he took Imagineering public, grew the company to over 1000 employees and in 1990 it was acquired by First Pacific. He founded One.Tel in 1995, a mobile and Long distance network operator. In 2007 Jodee founded www.PeopleBrowsr.com, a service provider of social media data, campaigns and analytics. PeopleBrowsr has built a 20 Terrabyte 3 year DataMine of public online conversations and provides Data, Campaigns and Advanced Analytics to Fortune 500 Companies.

ARIN SARKISSIAN (@phatduckk) is the Core Infrastructure Team Lead at digg.com. Arin is a Silicon Valley software engineer who’s currently the lead of Digg’s Core Infrastructure team. Before joining up with the folks at Digg Arin was lead developer of Fuzz.com where he created Blip.fm. Prior to Blip.fm/Fuzz.com he’s worked for various startups including Topix & Spoke Software.

Jia Shen

JIA SHEN (@mekatek) is the Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of RockYou, and has focused extensively on graphic design and usability throughout his professional web development career spanning over 10 years. Prior to RockYou, Jia has held management roles leading the user interface and technical solutions teams at Open Harbor, and managing the majority of engineering at Iconix. Jia started working on scalable consumer applications at shopping tools internet provider Bluedog, a Stanford based startup, and was part of the original team at Bell Laboratories which developed the VoiceXML format into the W3C standard. In addition, Jia's experience has spanned enterprise sales and professional services functions, as he closed transactions and integrated with large multi-national corporation customers like Mitsubishi, Tyco, Flextronics, and DHL. Jia has a double major in Computer Science and Computer Engineering from Johns Hopkins University.

IAN SWANSON (@ian_swanson) is Co-Founder and CEO of Sometrics. Sometrics was the first to tailor its analytics and ad managing solutions to focus on social networking platforms and applications, providing the most relevant and effective audience analysis and social ad targeting available. In December 2008, the company achieved another first when it launched the Advertiser Supported Transaction Platform, an ad server to manage all virtual currency monetization from multiple offer providers. Before launching Sometrics, Swanson was business development manager for Userplane, an AOL company that provides social media apps to hundreds of thousands of online communities, supporting millions of users daily. Swanson was instrumental in helping the company extend the reach of its hosted chat, IM and other communications apps, and in building the company's ad network. Before Userplane, he was an executive with Sprint and helped launch two mobile web startups.

Jeffrey Tseng

JEFFREY TSENG is a co-founder of Kontagent, a Facebook funded viral analytics platform venture.  Prior to Kontagent, Jeff has been involved in a number of early stage startups, and has also led a number of large academic research projects in the field of wireless sensor networks. His main interest lies in business strategy and technology. Jeff's technology interests and research has covered large-scale data processing and analytics, scalable architectures, wireless sensor networks, robotics, image compression, and system design. Prior to his entrepreneurial ventures, he was a Ph.D. Electrical Engineering candidate at UCLA.

PETE WARDEN (@petewarden) is the founder of Mailana Inc. With years of experience at Apple, he's contributed to Nvidia's GPU Gems series, and spoken at WWDC, SIGGRAPH and Defrag. Most recently he's been known for his work analyzing and visualizing massive data sets from Twitter, Facebook and Google Buzz, with a popular blog on those topics at http://petewarden.typepad.com.

POORNIMA VIJAYASHANKER is the Founder and CEO of BizeeBee.com. Poornima graduated from Duke University with a double degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Computer Science. After graduating she headed out to Silicon Valley, where she first worked for Synopsys as an R&D Engineer, and started working towards a Masters in CS at Stanford. She left her Masters to join Mint.com in 2006 as the third employee, and stayed until its Intuit Acquisition in late 2009 for $170 Million. In January 2010 she left Mint.com to start BizeeBee.com, and is currently its CEO and Founder. Aside from being a coder, entrepreneur, speaker, and mentor to junior engineers, Poornima blogs on Femgineer.com, is an avid traveler, foodie, and a competitive Bikram yogini.
