She has several published books to her name, including FT Press' Twitter 101: Everything You Need to Know about Twitter Marketing. Formerly the founding editor of MediaBistro's AllTwitter, the largest Twitter-specific resource on the web, Lauren has been writing about all things social media marketing since 2010. When she's not helping small and medium businesses develop effective social media marketing strategies through her consulting firm, Lauren also teaches marketers, public relations professionals and business owners how to optimize their social media presence as an online course instructor.

She earned her master's degree from Emerson College in Communication Management.
