Flight of the Blackbirds
by Gary Fabiano

-- (more images below)

This excerpt from the CD-ROM series Flight of the Blackbirds documents the changing tensions of the Balkan Region--specifically Albania, and its transition from a Communist state to a struggling democracy.

Gary Fabiano, a New York City-based domestic and international photographer, is also working on an ongoing project called property, which documents homeless members of society and their personal property. It was shown in the 2000 Moving Walls Exhibition at the Open Society/Soros Foundation.

He can be reached at 212.749.5618, or through the SIPA Press at 212.463.0150.
