This excerpt from the CD-ROM series Flight of the
Blackbirds documents the changing tensions of the Balkan Region--specifically
Albania, and its transition from a Communist state to a struggling democracy.
Gary
Fabiano , a New York City-based domestic and international photographer,
is also working on an ongoing project called property , which documents
homeless members of society and their personal property. It was shown in the
2000 Moving Walls Exhibition at the Open Society/Soros Foundation.
