Executive Assistant will provide administrative and editorial support for the Original Programming, Strategy & Planning group.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Administrative duties to include scheduling meetings and maintaining calendars, answering phones, preparing expense reports and travel arrangements, creating meeting agendas, maintaining invite lists, and drafting post-meeting notes to be distributed to attendees as needed. Will also maintain a tracking report of all original programming projects - from greenlight to air. This position will provide support coverage throughout the day, including serving as back-up to other Executive Assistants supporting senior management.

• Editorial responsibilities include drafting and dissemination of ongoing support-materials for HBO and Cinemax original programming, including print, online and video. Duties include drafting positioning summaries and synopses, copyediting and proofreading. Will maintain and update written and video elements included on the internal Original Programming SharePoint site.


REQUIREMENTS

• College degree or equivalent.
• Two years related experience strongly preferred.
• Superior writing, editing and proofreading skills required. The ability to write and fact-check accurately under deadline pressure is essential.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Outstanding interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task with excellent attention to detail and strong follow-up, a must.
• Must be proficient in all MS Office applications. Excel, advanced Word and Outlook expertise required.
• Enthusiasm for HBO programming is essential; industry knowledge is a plus.
