Job Requirements QUALIFICATIONS:
At least 4-5 years of hands-on relevant producing experience
Knowledge of and experience shooting lifestyle content like fashion and beauty lookbooks,
DIYs, cooking demos, sit-down interviews, and workouts
A strong creative vision that is both inspired and commercial
Must be comfortable in the control room, on set, and in the field
Leadership and managerial ability on the set
Experience managing all aspects of physical production, from script to delivery
Strong writing and communication skills
Understands or can quickly grasp the digital production process and the POPSUGAR brand
Can work positively and collaboratively with writers and editors of our sites
Ability to contribute to and execute show concepts into high-quality productions
Can handle a high volume of work
Grace under pressure, great people skills, high integrity
About Our Company POPSUGAR is looking for a Segment Producer for our daily TV show, POPSUGAR Now. This position will oversee lifestyle/style programming and production and be responsible for producing a fresh, daily segment wither in out studio or in the field. Our ideal candidate has a feel for the POPSUGAR brand and its millennial female audience, pushes past the predictable and generic, and crafts stories that motivate our audience to watch and share, through combining emotional, smart or funny approaches with authoritative, trustable takeaways.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee all lifestyle TV shoots out of our Los Angeles studio (primarily food, fitness, fashion, and beauty)
Act as liaison between Head of Lifestyle, Head of Style, and our TV team to pitch engaging lifestyle stories
Work with Executive Producer to program content, pitch viral ideas, and do research of other outlets to make sure content is cutting-edge and relevant
Oversee production of shoots, including:
Writing and reviewing scripts
Pulling assets
Sourcing products
Logging expenses
Giving creative direction on set
Overseeing edits and post-production
Managing lifestyle shoot schedule, calendar, and talent schedules
Work with major brands on integrations and sponsorships into lifestyle segments
May have a hand in producing events as well (award shows, film festivals, and live shows), so must have experience in the field, be quick on your feet, cool under fire, and be able to juggle multiple projects at various stages of production
