1.8 Million Viewers Watch Hopkins-Pascal On HBO
The sport of boxing was alive and well Saturday night as 1.8 million viewers watched Bernard Hopkins defeat Jean Pascal.
Those numbers were the highest for HBO since 2009 when Vitali Klitschko defeated Chris Arreola.
The 46-year-old Hopkins became the oldest fighter to win a major championship. He’s expected to announce his next opponent Friday on ESPN’s Friday Night Fights.
