As of January 2010′s close, Fox News’ “Special Report” and “FOX Report” both hit 100 consecutive months as the top rated cable news programs in their time slots.

Shepard Smith, who has been anchoring “FOX Report” for 10 years, tells TVNewser, “This milestone is a tribute to my executive producer Kim Rosenberg and her enormously talented team and the hundreds of Fox journalists who’ve built this organization, under Roger Ailes leadership, from scratch.”

“Special Report” has been anchored by Bret Baier since January of 2009 when he took over for Brit Hume.
