2005: FNC #1 For The Fourth Year

Fox News Channel “shattered viewership records in 2005, a press release said this evening.

FNC, “the number one cable news channel for the fourth consecutive year, extended its dominance by beating all cable news networks in Prime Time combined for the second consecutive year, according to Nielsen Media Research.”

The network broke “all previous Prime Time viewership records,” the press release adds. “FNC’s advantage over CNN in Prime Time viewership grew from 95% in 2004 (FNC’s 1,666,000 viewers vs. CNN’s 855,000 viewers) to 107% in 2005 (FNC’s 1,768,000 viewers vs. CNN’s 853,000 viewers.)”
