2009 TVNewser Poll Results: Brian Williams #1

We continue providing the results from a round of polls we asked on Dec. 31, 2008. One of the questions we asked was, By This Time Next Year Which Network News Broadcast Will Be #1?

59% of you said NBC “Nightly News with Brian Williams” would remain in first place. It is. 34% of you thought “World News with Charles Gibson” would be in first place. What none of us saw coming was that Gibson would not be the anchor of “World News” at the close of 2009. Diane Sawyer took over the broadcast earlier this week.
