2011 Women's NCAA Title Game Earns 2.7 Rating

The 2011 NCAA Women’s Basketball Championship game between Texas A&M and Notre Dame on ESPN earned a 2.8 Nielsen rating with an average audience of 3.8 million viewers – - up slightly from a 2.7 rating and 3.5 million viewers last year between Connecticut and Stanford.

Despite the Huskies getting bounced from the Final Four, Hartford had the highest local rating at 7.4, followed by Indianapolis (7.2), Knoxville (7.1), Tulsa (5.3), Louisville (5.1) and Austin (5.0).
