ABC Places First Among Broadcast Networks

ABC’s prime time coverage of Election Night gave it first place among the broadcast networks, with a 13,135,000 Total Viewer average between 8-11pm. NBC was a close second, with 12,018,000, followed by CBS with 7,829,000 and FOX with 5,137,000.

This was ABC’s first Election Night victory since 1996. NBC won in 2000 and 2004.

In the A25-54 demo, the order was the same, with ABC first and NBC a close second.
