ABC Promoter Visits Humanity Plaza

“It was odd to see someone show up at NBC’s ‘Humanity Plaza’ on Monday morning not to volunteer to build houses, but to hand out this bumper sticker promoting ABC’s primetime drama ‘Boston Legal,’” a tipster says. “There were huge crowds on hand to watch volunteers from NBC Universal and Warner Music build houses with Habitat…and maybe that made ‘Humanity Plaza’ an ideal venue to promote a TV show. But some passersby were offended to see the ‘Boston Legal’ promoter competing for sidewalk space with Habitat’s volunteers, who were fundraising and distributing information about hurricane rebuilding efforts.” The person was standing in front of the J. Crew store right next to a Habitat for Humanity booth…
