Cynopsis reports 20/20 is returning to its Friday night roots, at 10pmET. The change is effective November 2. At the start of the season, 20/20 aired at 8pmET on Fridays. In late July, ABC VP Phyllis McGrady sent a memo to the staff describing the move: "Our West Coast colleagues want the strong lead-in that 20/20 will provide to help launch some new and returning shows on Friday night," wrote McGrady. "You should be proud that the company recognizes the enduring strength of 20/20."
