ABC sent 10 college students to investigate the threat of terrorism at nuclear research reactors on college campus, and they found "gaping security holes," ABCNews.com says. A full report will air on tonight's Primetime.

The investigation was conducted "in conjunction with Carnegie Corporation of New York, which invited university deans at five schools to select two of their most promising journalism and government graduate students to work with the ABC News investigative unit for the summer."

But some interest groups are raising red flags about the report:

> The National Association of Manufacturer's blog says "ABC should hang its head in shame on this piece."

> NEI Nuclear Notes calls it "pure, unadulterated hysteria. Sound science nowhere to be found."

> At some schools, the "strange behavior" of the interns "had drawn the attention of the FBI, the Department of Homeland Security and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission," the Kansas City Star notes.
