ABC's Nightline got a boost from the CMA Awards last night, which from 8-11pm was the night's #1 show.

• Nightline drew 5.447 million Total Viewers and had 1.78 rating in A25-54 viewers.

• The Jay Leno show at 10pm drew 4.683M Total Viewers and a 1.6 in A25-54.

As for Nightline's late night competiton:

• Late Show with David Letterman drew 4.324M Total Viewers and a 1.31 A25-54 rating.

• The Toinght Show with Conan O'Brien had 2.685 million Total Viewers and 1.19 in the demo.

(Nightline's numbers are based on the half hour length of the show, while Letterman and Conan are based on the average for the hour.)
