For the week of August 31, “Nightline” was able to top new episodes of “Late Show with David Letterman” and “The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien” in both Total Viewers and the A25-54 demo. This marks 11 consecutive weeks that “Nightline” has bested “The Tonight Show,” a stat that was last met in 1995.
