ABC’s Podcasting Web Site Is Online

ABC has announced its podcasting plans. “ABC News: First network to launch free news and entertainment audio podcasts,” the press release headline says. “Podcast hub features The AfterNote, daily highlights from Good Morning America and Nightline.” They are available for free download on this Web site.

“Podcasting is a cultural sensation, and ABC News is on the forefront of reaching the consumer through innovative mediums,” Bernard Gershon, Senior VP and GM of ABC News Digital Media Group says. “Whether listening on an iPOD, watching on a Sony PSP, or using a wireless device, our audience has access across many platforms to the vast resources of ABC News.”
