ABC’s Primetime: WWYD Tops at 10

The premiere of ABC’s “Primetime: What Would You Do?” came in first in its 10pm timeslot last night. The show drew 7.6 million Total Viewers and averaged a 2.9 rating in A18-49, a gain of 142% over the 1.2 rating lead-in delivered by the sitcom Carpoolers.

The show topped CBS’ Jericho (6.9 million viewers / 2.2 A18-49 rating) and NBC’s Web-to-broadcast premiere of Quarterlife (3.9M / 1.6). ABC says “Primetime: WWYD?” had the highest A18-49 & A25-54 ratings for any newsmagazine premiere since the October 2006 airing of Dateline-Wednesday.

“Primetime: What Would You Do?” uses hidden cameras to film everyday scenarios, then captures people’s reactions.
