Al Roker Now Getting Up Even Earlier

TVNewser caught up with Al Roker and Stephanie Abrams today as they promote their new morning show on The Weather Channel. “Wake Up With Al” (or “WUWA!!!” as the two seem really excited about referring to it) will start airing on July 20th weekdays 6-7amET with a reair at 10amET(7amPT) for the West Coast. The new show will cover weather, news, and entertainment and will feature headlines from MSNBC and CNBC. Al will be doing the new show from New York and then hustling over to his regular post at “Today.”

We were able to grab Al and Stephanie for a moment to discuss the new show, the early hours they keep, and Al’s ongoing feud with Chris Cuomo. There isn’t enough caffeine in the world that could help us keep up with these two.
