Back in June, the U.K. Press Gazette hinted at a November launch date for the oft-delayed Al Jazeera International. Today's New York Post confirms the November due date, noting that it should "coincide with the 10th anniversary of the network."

Spokesman Michael Holtzman "said the debut will be available in more than just a smattering of American homes."

He said: "We've gotten carriage across the board. We just can't identify with whom at this stage because they are at different stages." He added: There are major players at the table. This won't be a tiny toehold; we will have significant access."
