A bit of an awkward turn this morning on “Morning Joe,” as co-host Mika Brzezinski agreed with former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright that what’s happening in Ukraine is more important than the search for missing Malaysia Airlines Flight 370.
“I know we’re all focused on the airplane, but the bottom line is this has really, truly, long-term implications, and we all need to focus on how to deal with Ukraine,” Albright said.
“I totally agree with you on dealing with competing news interests here, but certainly Ukraine is our focus here on ‘Morning Joe,’ and has been since the story broke,” Brzezinski said. She then thanked Albright and teased more coverage of the missing plane.
