An Update on “Mike and Juliet”

MandJ_12-12b.jpgMike Jerrick and Juliet Huddy left Dayside and FNC in July 2006 to begin work on their new network morning show. The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet premiered in January in only 40% of the country, but was picked up in September for a national roll-out.

Broadcasting & Cable wrote Monday that Fox O&O stations are expected to renew the show for a second season. Still, the numbers are fairly low for the show, garnering just a 1.2/4 in the national household rating (Live+SD), which is down year-to-date in the time period.

There is some stiff competition for Mike and Juliet in major markets. It faces Live with Regis & Kelly in New York, The View in Los Angeles and Oprah in Chicago.
