No, you weren’t seeing things. The photo above left is from last night’s “Anderson Cooper 360″ and the photo above right is from this morning’s “Live with Regis and Kelly.”

Anderson Cooper, who has been down in the Gulf Coast covering the oil spill this week was guest co-hosting the program Friday with Kelly Ripa. Before you start criticizing Cooper for leaving the Gulf to host an entertainment show, know that Friday’s “Live” was pre-taped before Cooper left New York.

Not to mention that Cooper’s show ended at midnight on the east coast. It is hard to be “morning show host chipper” if you have to travel from Louisiana to New York overnight.
