Longtime CBS “60 Minutes” commentator Andy Rooney–who ended his weekly commentary last month–has been hospitalized after “serious complications” arose following a minor surgery.

According to CBS News Radio White House correspondent Mark Knoller:

“CBS News just announced that Andy Rooney underwent minor surgery last week and suffered serious complications. He remains hospitalized. CBS News says Andy Rooney’s condition is stable but at request of Rooney Family is making no other disclosures.”
