‘Ashleigh, Ashleigh, Ashleigh’ In CNN Exchange
CNN had a tense and fascinating exchange this week with Ashleigh Banfield interviewing Congressman Joe Walsh (R) Illinois.
Walsh’s opponent is Iraq war veteran Tammy Duckworth who lost her legs while serving as a Black Hawk helicopter pilot in Iraq. Last week at a town hall meeting Rep. Walsh criticized Duckworth saying, “my God, that’s all she talks about,” referring to her military service.
In the interview, Walsh gets agitated, at one point repeating over and over “Ashleigh, Ashleigh, Ashleigh.”
