CBS Evening News with Katie Couric Wins Murrow Award for Best Newscast

Couric_7.1.jpg Breaking: In the just announced Edward R. Murrow awards, the CBS Evening News with Katie Couric has won Best Newscast. CBS News won four awards in total, bested by ABC News which won six, including one for Overall Excellence. NBC News won one.

CBS News also took home an award for best Website, while ABC News won for spot news coverage of the Minneapolis bridge collapse.
