Barbara Walters to Interview Jenny Sanford

Barbara Walters gets the exclusive with Jenny Sanford, the first lady of South Carolina whose husband, Governor Mark Sanford disappeared and then revealed his extramarital affair with an Argentinean woman in June.

Walters is featuring Jenny Sanford in her annual “10 Most Fascinating People” special that will air Dec. 9 on ABC, during which a brief interview will air.

A longer interview will be included in a primetime special that you’ll have to wait five months to see — it’ll be broadcast in April, 2010, timed to coincide with the publication of Jenny Sanford’s memoir.
