Rep. Barney Frank married his partner Jim Ready this weekend at a ceremony in Newton, MA. The New York Times vows column has more on the nuptials which were performed by Gov. Deval Patrick. Frank, no stranger to cable news, including some memorable sparing with Bill O’Reilly, included this nugget in his vows:

Mr. Frank and Mr. Ready pledged to love each other “on MSNBC or on Fox” and “in Congress or in retirement,” a reference to Mr. Frank’s decision not to seek another term.

Frank has represented his district since 1981, long before Fox News and MSNBC went on the air, and when CNN was just six months old.
