B&C, Multichannel News Sold

TVNewsCheck reports three trade publications that cover the media industry — Broadcasting & Cable, Multichannel News and This Week in Consumer Electronics — have been sold to NewBay Media LLC, a network of magazines, conferences, and marketing services.

The publications had been owned by the U.S. subsidiary of Reed Elsevier, Reed Business Information. The price was not disclosed.
