Beck Headed to Fox News?

beck_10-16.jpgThe Drudge Report has posted a “developing” item about a potential network switch for Headline News’ Glenn Beck: “Glenn Beck close to deal with FOX NEWS CHANNEL for 5pm show.”

We’re looking into it, but here’s what we know. In March, Beck and FNC CEO Roger Ailes were “breaking bread” in New York City. Also, FNC’s SVP of development Joel Cheatwood created and helped launch Beck’s current HLN program. And of course, FNC is already slated for some movement in its early evening programming.

But perhaps most telling — Beck’s Headline News contract is up soon. We’ll keep you updated…
