Bill O’Reilly Apologizes For Erroneous ‘March On Washington’ Comment

Fox News host Bill O’Reilly dedicated his “tip of the day” segment last night to, well, himself. O’Reilly used the opportunity to apologize for saying that Republicans were not invited to speak at the 50th anniversary celebration for the March on Washington.”

“Last night during my discussion with James Carville on the Martin Luther King commemoration, I said that there were no Republican speakers invited. Wrong, it was wrong,” O’Reilly said, noting that some Republicans were invited, but declined to attend. “So here’s the tip of the day, always check the facts when you make a definitive statement, and when you make a mistake, admit it.”
