Bill O’Reilly Defends Lou Dobbs, Sort Of
Last night, Bill O’Reilly had on Richard Cohen, the president of the SPLC, the Alabama law firm that has called for Lou Dobbs to be removed from CNN. O’Reilly said his team looked into the birther story last year and “found out it’s bogus.”
O’Reilly: “If you’re going to ask for the firing of every irresponsible commentator in the country…”
Cohen: “Except for you Bill…”
O’Reilly: “…look, anyone can be fired. What I’m telling you is it never ends…the marketplace takes care of it. Lou Dobbs’ ratings are not very good. CNN is having a very, very hard time.”
