After taking time earlier this week to defend his own Super Bowl interview with President Obama, Bill O’Reilly took issue with MSNBC’s coverage of the New Jersey bridge scandal on last night’s “O’Reilly Factor.”
“They’re getting a little ratings bump over there, but it’s surprising,” O’Reilly said. “It’s just night after night…there’s nothing new. They’re on a jihad against Christie.”
O’Reilly acknowledged it will be a big story if it’s proven Christie lied.
He’s right about the network’s ratings bump: they won the primetime A25-54 demo the day Governor Christie gave a two-hour press conference on the bridge scandal earlier this month.
