Tomorrow on CBS News Sunday Morning — as he prepares for the Democratic National Convention in Denver — Chief Washington Correspondent Bob Schieffer takes a look at political conventions past and present: the good, the bad and the just plain baffling. Schieffer also recounts some his own favorite experiences at the conventions; among them, getting a lesson in meditation from poet Allen Ginsberg in 1972.

Schieffer follows up the Sunday Morning piece by anchoring Face the Nation live from Denver. His guests include Gov. Ed Rendell, Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr., and one-time VP shortlister Gov. Kathleen Sebelius.
