Bob Wright Defends MSNBC & CNBC; Says The Only Real Issue Is Primetime

Tuesday on FNC’s Your World, Neil Cavuto asked NBC Universal’s Bob Wright about rumors that MSNBC and CNBC are “in trouble.” “MSNBC and CNBC are doing much better,” Wright responded. “So you aren’t planning any changes there?,” Cavuto asked. “No,” Wright said. “They have really improved dramatically and I’m very pleased about that.”

According to a rough transcript by ICN, he said the only real issue is “in primetime and we know it. And we’re putting a lot of resources… some very very good people… we brought a lot of new people into the mix — new producers and new talent and different directions, and so we just have to let it play out.”
