Boring “Conversations with Michael Eisner?”

Michael Eisner‘s new CNBC show “is off to a rocky start,” according to Page Six.

An insider declares: “They pre-taped three shows already. Each show will have a business-type person and a celebrity. But the only celebs he could find to be on the show so far are Goldie Hawn and Bette Midler. Dinosaurs! No A-listers. In the old days, everyone would have been lining up. His ego is so huge, he should have just started a charitable foundation and called it a day.”

> A tipster writes to TVNewser: “As a CNBC insider who’s seen the Eisner interviews, all I have to say is YUCK! The set looks like a boring conference room, austere, cold and cheap.”

> A second CNBC employee asks: “Eisner was a boring interview. Why should we expect he will not be a boring interviewer?”
