Bret Baier ‘Ready For a Rap-Off’ With Brian Williams

Long before Jimmy Fallon got the idea to edit together clips of Brian Williams “rapping,” another news anchor that’s on in the 6pmET hour tried his hand at “Rapper’s Delight” — live.

The Daily Caller found video from 2011 of Fox News anchor Bret Baier performing “Rapper’s Delight” at the Bob Hope Classic, an annual charity golf tournament in California. Watch:

“I’m ready for a rap-off anytime,” Baier joked in a radio interview with WMAL. “I’ll tell you this — that editor, holy cow. That’s a lot of hours … it’s really strong. It’s very, very strong.”

Aside from his musical skills, Baier is a man of many talents: last week, he and his wife Amy were awarded the inaugural Joseph E. Robert, Jr. Prize in Philanthropy from the Children’s National Health System. Baier is a vocal advocate for children with heart disease, as his son, Paul, was born with congenital heart defects and has undergone seven angioplasties and three heart surgeries.
