Brian Williams Heads Home to Jersey
NBC’s Brian Williams, a Middletown, New Jersey native, will head to his home state tonight to lead a journalists’ roundtable and to accept an award.
Monmouth University is honoring Williams with its Award for Communication Excellence, established in 2004 “to honor individuals who have made significant lifetime contributions in the field of communications”.
Williams will also lead a roundtable discussion about TV news, featuring NBCers Anne Thompson and Dr. Nancy Snyderman, plus two New York newsers, WWOR’s Brenda Blackmon and WNBC’s Brian Thompson.
